| Phil Stein (Stumps) 4' 8" of Pure Rock God |

| Phil brings the art of multi-tasking to a whole new level when he takes the stage for Southwind. A native of Abilene, he had been playing keyboards for years when he made his way onto the stage in 1998 with an acoustic guitar. A classic example of "on the job" training, Phil has consistently stepped up his performance with his work on the guitar, keyboards, and his incredible vocal abilities while drunk. His voice finds it's way into almost every song with the harmonies and melodies that help to define the Southwind sound. Phil's stage antics usually include leading the crowd in "off-color" toasts, wearing protective gear for safety and fashion, and even sitting in on the drums for a few songs to let Adam show off his guitar skills. Phil's energy, ability, fertility, and creativity are directly responsible for great times on the stage and even better stories afterwards. | |||||||
