		A native of Virginia, Rob has been strumming away on guitars and entertaining crowds through no less that six presidential administrations.  He is the main voice of Southwind and provides both electric and acoustic guitar work as well as blowing a mean harmonica.  The pride of his collection of guitars is a 1977 Gibson Hummingbird that has cranked out thousands of songs through the years.  He has led Southwind through several line-up changes and provided consistency and stability to the group while never afraid to let nature take its course and let the chips fall where they're thrown.  Cut from the mold of the great singer/songwriters of the 60's like Bob Dylan and Warren Zevon, Rob diversity enables him to adjust from being a solo acoustic act to fronting a rock band.   He also plays the dual-role of being the band's Dad, both symbolically and literally(?).
